Scheisse! The people of the city of Pittsburgh has this chip on its shoulder about any time someone bad mouths it. I don't understand it.
Here's the point: some tarty little trollop who was here to film a movie made some negative comments last year and it caused a huge stir. Everyone in the city was upset, annoyed, or outraged.
At the time, people were saying things like, "Can you believe what Sienna Miller said about Pittsburgh?" to which I would reply, "Who the hell is Sienna Miller?"
I still don't really know who she is but now I recognize the name. I don't think I would recognize her if I met her on the street but I'm sure she'd tell me who she is.
Still - I have the following question for Pittsburghers: Do you think the people of New York would give a rat's ass if she said something bad about the Big Apple?

Yes, I do think the people of New York and our nation for that matter would care about what she saids about "the big apple". I can't understand why, but I have a feeling they and us would hear about it, and will will be a big deal. Again, I don't understand why.
